What age can use these kinsho stainless steel bento boxes?

These bento lunch boxes are safety approved for age 3+. Any age, even adults, can used them if they need 2.25 or 3.25 cup volume of food.
How secure are the seals? Is this container set leak-proof?

This set is leak-proof due to the silcone seals in the lid that keep each compartment's contents in their place. It is NOT recommended for liquids, soups, etc.
Is this steel lunch box difficult to open?

The two latches are designed to be easy to open for kids. The air release circle on the lid needs to be opened BEFORE the latches, and closed AFTER the latches, to create the air-tight seal. Kids love to do this but younger ones may need assistance.
